River Valley Christian Fellowship is a Southern Baptist, "Pastor-Led Resource Church," led by our pastor, Cody Whitfill and leadership team.  Our Church is new, but our vision is ages old.  Our three main foci are

• The lost
   

• The family
   

• Relationships

The Lost

This first focus has many facets to it.  For example, one way we reach the lost is by providing a church that reaches out to young families, single parents, teenagers, etc. We also encourage current Christians in the area to come be a part of an organization that can use their God given talents to reach more people for Christ. 

The Family

We see family as a very important part of the Christian life.  We believe that as we offer a "contemporary style" church, families from all walks of life will be drawn to River Valley.  Children and youth ministries are a very important part of River Valley.  We believe that by offering strong children and youth ministries coupled with a "contemporary style" church, many families will find River Valley appealing. 

Relationships

Another key to River Valley is relationships, formal and informal relationships are important for Christians in today's world.  We provide an atmosphere where people go to church with their "friends," not just their "acquaintances."  River Valley is a place where Christians know there will be someone to encourage them, mentor them and hold them accountable.  A place where non-Christians feel welcomed, cared for, and yet see a joy in the Christian's heart, and that they may want.  A place where everyone hears the gospel in all its judgment and all its mercy as well as see the love of Christ through the relationships they form at church.
