Hey River Valley!
In the past weeks we have asked you to pray for the "40 Days of Community" campaign. Our prayers have been focused on the importance of this program serving as a catalyst for our four strategies and our emphasis of our three main values at River Valley.
As we get closer to the 40 Day journey, we want to narrow our focus even more. Continue to pray for the Lost, Families, and Relationships; and continue to pray for a deeper understanding of the importance of Worship, being in Small Groups, engaging in Spiritual Practices, and being on Mission.
However, now ask God to give us clarity and direction regarding specific service projects that He would have us do. We want to serve God faithfully and see the most fruit from our labor. As we begin the "40 Days of Community" journey, each of the 15 existing and 5 new small groups will serve people all across Bastrop. Pray that each group will be exactly where God wants them so that He receives the most glory.
Also, ask God to prepare our hearts to go on these service projects. This is important because our attitude, our actions, our words, and our love for God and our neighbor will speak volumes about our faith in Christ.
